SEA CLOUD SPIRIT - Full-rigged three-master

What exactly is a full-rigged ship? A tall ship is called a full-rigged ship if she has at least three masts with entirely square rigging. This is easy to see from the sails, which are rigged at right angles to the ship. Construction of three-masted ships, by the way, began in the 15 th century. At that time, they were mostly rigged with square sails on the first two masts and had a triangular lateen sail on the third one - so they were not yet full-rigged ships.
